Selling by the Song

If you have One Song you can sell it as a digital download. If you have 100 or 1,000 songs you can sell them as digital downloads without a third party approval. Some analysts state that it may be too soon to forecast the demise of the CD, noting that by 2006 a clearer trend will be known. But single song downloads indicate that the consumer dislikes having to buy a whole CD just to get the one or two songs that they really like. Now you can do just like the big labels/artists, let the consumer decide which song or songs to buy. All you have to do is format in (WMA) one copy of any song that you want to sell.

The Money

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS: We recommend you sell each digital download for eighty-eight cents ($0.88) on www.musicidstributors.com. When one of your songs/tracks are purchased from the digital platform we pay you sixty (65%) five percent of the sales price. Unlike other services that promise a higher split but lose percentage points to their outside download services before they pay you, we have only one split that gives you 65%. To make it cost effective, www.musicdistributors.com will pay you electronically or by check when your account has accrued twenty-five dollars ($25.00) that are cleared or verified at the end of each month. If your Physical CD's and artist page are already on musicdistributors.com there is No Charge for Artists that are "Registered" and have CDs on (www.musicdistributors.com), email us at info@musicdistributors.com which fifteen songs you would like digitized. If you're are not currently Registered on the site , Click on ("ARTIST REGISTRATION") and select the package of your choice. If you register and upload your own songs and song samples there is no charge for registration and setup.

PHYSICAL CD"S: We sell your CD's/ videos/books - You are paid after Two (2) CD's/videos/books are sold. (We keep it simple and easy for everyone). You set your own prices. We keep only $4.00 per. CD/DVD sold. All major card cards, paypal, Personal checks, money orders, or e-check are accepted. Orders can be fulfilled online or by phone and mail too The Product Will Ship after the service has verified the Funds, and Checks have cleared the Bank account or a money order is deposited in our account. You will be emailed an alert when your CD/Album/Book/Video has been purchased.

If you register and upload your own songs and song samples there is no charge for registration and setup. . Should www.musicdistributors.com setup your Artists/Label page and place the Songs/Tracks on the (DRM), there is a charge of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per. CD/Title. Each CD/Title is limited to fifteen (15) songs. As you've noticed, your songs are uploaded in blocks of 15 as one CD. If you don't have fifteen songs or music tracks already completed that's OK. You can upload them one at a time as you create new songs. Put your songs in Windows Media Audio (WMA) format and upload them or mail us your physical CDs/Albums and we will upload them for you after you register. You have six months to email or mail the remaining songs/Tracks. Got a lot more than 15 songs/tracks or a label that has multiple Artists That's OK too, contact info@musicdistributors.com and ask for the volume discount. You must upload your songs/music files as 128 Kbps Windows Media Audio (WMA) for downloads on (www.musicdistributors.com). All uploaded songs must also have a 50 second sample uploaded at the same time in 128 Kbps WMA format. The sample file allows buyers to listen to a portion of your song.

What Else?

When you “Register”upload your songs as a 128 Kbps WMA (windows media audio) file. Windows Media Player and other programs can be used to convert your songs to WMA files. Graphic files must be jpeg files no larger than 300 pixels high and 300 wide. After being encoded and placed on our servers your music/songs are now available as digital downloads. Just think, anyone, anywhere in the global community with access to the internet can buy your songs/Music.

Who?

OK. We admit that if you're hesitant in placing your Songs/Tracks on the digital platform, then this program is not for you. Mail your CDs to the address below and we will place your CDs on (www.musicdistributors.com) "The Retail Site".But for the rest of you, this is what you've been waiting for. No more paying for duplicating CD's or waiting for an Investor. Not duplicating thousands of CD's gives you a huge savings. (Register Now) and let all those people who buy digital music know that they can buy your music and download it straight into their computer or digital music player. We don't take any rights to your music, you own the music and all rights. We do not send your music to any other digital music distributors. We do not accept music from other digital music distributors so there are no conflicts. You can place your music with any other digital music distributor as you choose, we are not exclusive.

House Keeping

We reserve the right to determine what we will sell and what we won't sell. If you were us, wouldn't you? So, if we decide in the first six months that we will no longer carry your music we will provide you with a full refund minus shipping and return any physical CD's to you that we still have in our inventory. After one year we may notify you that you have 30 days to have them picked up after which time we may dispose of them and we may notify you that to continue to maintain your songs in our database that there will be a storage fee. If that fee is not received in the specified time, we may delete your files.

Of course, if your music is selling, none of this will probably apply. Isn't that what we want!?
